A: It is no secret to every sane person who has studied the biography of Imam Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab and his followers that they are innocent of this statement. Because the Imam, may God have mercy on him, has proven in his writings, especially in the Book of Monotheism and Exposing Suspicions, the intercession of the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, for his nation on the Day of Resurrection, and from here it is known that the Sheikh, may God have mercy on him and his followers, do not deny his intercession upon him, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and the intercession of other prophets, angels, believers, and excesses, but rather prove it as proven by God and His Messenger. And our righteous predecessors used to do that, according to the evidence from the Book and the Sunnah.
Thus, it is clear to you that what was reported from the sheikh and his followers of denying the intercession of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, is from the most invalid of falsehood, and from blocking the path of God and lying to the callers to Him. As the Almighty said: Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? [البقرة:255]And the Almighty said: How many angels are there in the heavens whose intercession avails nothing except after God has given permission to whom He wills and is pleased with? [النجم:26]And He, Glory be to Him, said concerning the angels: And they do not intercede except for those whom He is pleased with, and they are the ones who fear Him. [الأنبياء:28] And He, Glory be to Him, is only satisfied with monotheism. As for the polytheists, they have no share in intercession, as He, Glory be to Him, said: What will the intercession of the intercessors benefit them? [المدثر:48] And the Almighty said: The wrongdoers have no intimate and no intercessor to be obeyed. [غافر:18].
We ask God for success for us and you for what pleases Him, and for wellness and safety from everything that angers Him.. God is the conciliator^[1].
